Integrated Air and Missile Defence Photos

Defence IQ is pleased to announce Integrated Air and Missile Defence 2012. The 5th Annual event in the series will be held on 10th & 11th May 2012 in Zurich.

Integrated Air and Missile Defence covers a variety of platforms, munitions and sensor systems. Its purpose is to protect territorial space from attacks by air launched munitions, rockets, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles.

Visits to Swiss Air Defence Command and also the Rheinmetall Air Defence testing range for a live firing viewing

Sea Viper: The UK's "world-class" air defence system
In this podcast Defence IQ talks with Nick Young, currently a Senior Systems Engineer at Cobham, who previously worked at QinetiQ, primarily as a technical expert advising the Ministry of Defence on the introduction of the Principal Anti Air Missile System (PAAMS), now known as Sea Viper. Nick gives an expert insight on what this world-class air defence system brings to the party, how it compares to other platforms currently available, and its future capabilities.
